No trainer is the same, and I believe that it is important for you to take your time finding the right trainer for you. If you are looking for someone who is fun, creative, exciteable, and has tons of energy so that nothing ever gets boring—then I am your girl! I love every second of my job, where my focus is teaching you all the tools you need for lifelong success, and to help you advocate for what is in your best interest. I focus primarily on functional training that incorporates facets of strength, stamina and balance for all age groups and ability levels. I ask nothing more from my clients other than good communication, and to give me 110% both inside and outside of the gym. I am rewarded by the relationships I foster, and by the experiences I have with my clients (I have taken clients on their very first hike up a mountain, joined them on bike rides, and run with them in 5K races); I will do and try absolutely anything with the people I work with that promotes their health and well-being. To me, working out is not about lifting weights but applying that knowledge to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone, and to experience life in a new light—both in body and mind.
I have been working in the southern New Hampshire and greater Boston area since 2010 after graduating from Ithaca College, where I received a Bacelors in Exercise Science and double minor in Health and Nutrition. I managed and trained at personal training and Pilates studio in Wellesley, MA from 2011-2020, and started FlexFit Studio in 2014 at a space in Amherst for two years before moving it into Gateway Hills Health Club in Nashua (where I have now returned!). When COVID, hit I moved my business completely online, and February 2024 I began managing a friends studio in Weston, MA that focuses on holistic healing through personal training, Classical Pilates, massage, crasniosacral therapy, hyperbaric chamber, and so much more. I am certified through the American Council on Exercise, and also TRX Suspension Trainer certified. I am very outdoorsy and love to hike in the White Mountains, rollerblade, play all frisbee sports, snowshoe, and travel – pretty much anything and everything you can imagine that will keep me outside.
In December 2017, I gave birth to my daughter, Layla. She has dramatically changed the way I look at the fitness world for mothers with young children. It is such a struggle physically, mentally and emotionally finding the time and energy to exercise and make healthy food choices. It is very easy to put our own needs aside, and I knew that I was not alone and that other mothers were experiencing the same challenges. To help moms who don't live in a gym like I do, I have to offer them the first Mommy & Me exercise program in the area! It has been such a thrill (and exhausting!) setting an example for other moms that they can put themselves first, and be in a room filled with other moms trying to meet similar goals.
So whether you are an average joe, athlete or mom—with nutritional guidance, an effective workout program and a positive attitude, I truly believe you have the power to shape your body how you see Fit!
